Free Crochet Video Tutorial: Jack Skeleton Coffee Mug Cozy

Poochie Baby has many other patterns available for free and for sale at Ravelry, Craftsy and in the Etsy Shop. There are also versions available in the Kindle store if you prefer to use your ebook reader.

-----------------------------------------------------------
I have been busy making some custom orders this week and did not have time to put together a free Poochie Baby pattern. But, I found this video tutorial that is perfect! This mug cozy is absolutely adorable and so easy to make. Just in time for Halloween.

Make these for your friends and co-workers, or give as Halloween party favors! One skein of white yarn and some scrap black yarn should make several.

Thanks to Yolanda Soto Lopez for this excellent video tutorial.

Happy Hooking!

Custom Order Crochet Owl Blankets for Baby

Visit the Etsy shop!

custom order crochet owl blanket

This adorable owl blanket is my favorite item in the Etsy shop! Finding the perfect gift for a new baby can be difficult, especially for those moms who seem to have everything.

I love making these blankets! They are the perfect receiving blanket size (34"x34"). Even toddlers can use the blanket for security or to snuggle up with on the couch while watching their favorite movie.

To order a blanket, you just need to choose three colors and decide what type of edging. There are three options for edges: ruffle, straight and pointed. You can see all three examples in the picture above.

The blanket can be purchased through the Etsy shop here. Or, you can send me an email directly to make a request. When ordered directly by email, I send out an invoice through PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account to make payment. Just a credit card will do.

I make many different types of baby blankets. Most examples can be seen the the shop and custom orders are always welcome.

Free Crochet Pattern: Ribbed Fingerless Gloves

Poochie Baby has many other patterns available for free and for sale at Ravelry, Craftsy and in the Etsy Shop. There are also versions available in the Kindle store if you prefer to use your ebook reader.

Hey everyone.... Happy Tuesday!

I had a Facebook fan ask if I had a pattern for some gloves. Well, I didn't have a full pattern but I did have pictures with instructions scribbled on. So, here is a written pattern for my ribbed fingerless gloves. I hope you enjoy it!

Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern

Pattern:

H Hook
Make Two

CH 23

R1 - SC in the second chain from the hook and in each stitch across. CH 1 and turn.

R2 thru R26 - Working in back loops only, SC in each stitch across. CH 1 and turn. (On row 26, just CH 1 but do not turn.)

*Working along the top edge of the piece

R27 - SC in each stitch across the top edge. Turn.

R28 - (form a scallop edge) Skip the first stitch and DC four times in the next stitch. Skip the next stitch and SC in the next stitch. Continue this pattern until you reach the end.

*Now you have a flat piece, with a scalloped top that is going to be joined together.

R29 - Join the two sides together. Stitch the edges together: SS in the first three stitches. Skip seven stitches (thumb holes). SS in the remaining stitches until you reach the bottom edge.

R30 - CH and SC around the bottom edge of the glove. Turn.

R31 - (form a scallop edge) Skip the first stitch and DC three times in the next stitch. Skip a stitch and SS in the next stitch. Continue this pattern until you reach the end. - The scallop edging is smaller at the bottom than at the top. Tie off and weave in the loose ends.
