Here is a simple pattern for a ribbed crochet headband.

Pattern:
I Hook
CH 13
R1 - SC in the second chain from hook and in each stitch across. CH 1 and turn.
R2 thru R64 - SC in each stitch across, working in back loops only. CH 1 and turn.
R65 - SC in each stitch across, working in back loops only.
Finishing off - place the two ends together and join using a SC stitch across the edge. Tie off and weave in the ends.
That's it!..... So simple.
