Crochet Owl Receiving Blanket

Hey everyone.....

I finally finished this custom order for a baby owl blanket! It took longer than I expected because my entire household came down with the stomach flu!!! Not fun..............

I love the way it turned out. The colors are perfect.

  1. Hello, just a quick question. Before I saw this pattern, I purchased varigated yard in these colors...Do you think it would still look good with the varigated yarn. I could get a light pink and the darker pink and brown for the borders. Thanks for your help. Blessings, Sandy

  3. To Sandie: I'm not sure about using varigated yarn. If you try it out, I would love to see a picture!

  5. I mostly use Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" to make my blankets.... or, I also use Red Heart Super Saver. That usually gives me the best color combinations. If you wash the Red Heart properly, it will turn out very soft.
