Free Cell Phone Case Pattern
To begin, the first
chain length depends on the width of your phone. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy
S2 (2 5/8" across). Using an H hook, it takes 10 chains to measure the
width of the phone. I add 2 chains to that for a total of 12. So, begin to
chain and measure the length as you go. When you reach the desired length add 2
chains (this will form the first HDC). If you are making a case for someone
else, you can look up the phone dimensions online and use your trusty ruler to
size the case.
With H hook, CH 10 +
2 for a total of 12 (This
will fit the measurements of my phone, the Galaxy S2).
R1 - HDC in the second chain from hook. HDC
across the row, with 2 HDC in the last chain. Then, working on the opposite
side of the chain, HDC across the row. Make sure to HDC in the very last chain
on the row. Join and chain 1. Do not turn.
